About Watson’s Roofing & Siding
Watson’s Roofing & Siding was built in Portage la Prairie, MB in 1959 by Vern Watson. Vern’s son Grant took over the company from 1980 until 2002, when Dan and Sylvia became the third generation of owners. Dan had worked for Watson’s Roofing as a subcontractor for a year and a half before succeeding Grant and continuing the Watson’s roofing legacy.

Dan grew up in the small farming community of Isabella, MB, 110kms northwest of Brandon, MB, and was encouraged by his father to learn a trade. At the age of 16, Dan began roofing during his summer holidays, and now has nearly 30 years of roofing and siding experience.
On his spare time, Dan likes to spend time with his family, play and coach hockey, golf, go dirt biking, and camp in the great outdoors.
